Things Owned, Lost, and Understood

We chase, we clutch, and in time, we let go,
Attachments fading, like footprints in snow.
The joy of having, the ache of loss,
Moments reminding us—everything has a cost.

From treasures held to the ones that slip,
The weight of memories—both soft and crisp.
Yet wisdom rises where possession falls,
Not in our hands, but in what it recalls.

Like her ↑ feet—sublime, a dance, a flame,
Each motion, a whisper, joy and pain.
Desire ignites, to hold, to claim,
But fleeting grace can't wear a chain.

Cheers to the truth, raw and unexpected:
You never lose what life has claimed.
The gain is subtle, the prize unseen
A soul unburdened, aware, and serene.
